Why email coaching?
Why? Well, there are a number of reasons but the main one is that email coaching is perfect for writers!
For a start, it gets you writing again, even if all you write are your email responses and questions.
(It’s always a joy to see how my clients really find their voice as the email correspondence begins to flow.)
It’s also been proven that writing can be a form of therapy that helps us access different parts of the brain. This process can be especially therapeutic and inspiring for writers.
Email coaching is also convenient and comprehensive – you can email at any time, whenever you get a few moments to yourself, or whenever you are feeling the need for support, guidance, encouragement or inspiration.
Just expressing what you need can be a helpful process in itself.
Email coaching is also a soul-soothing alternative for the more introverted writers.
It’s a great tool for writers who aren’t comfortable or drawn to in-person coaching or over the phone formats.
If, like me, you feel you write better than you speak – email coaching can be a powerful and enjoyable support system for you and your writing.
(Enjoying the process is a major theme of my work.)
If email coaching sounds like a joyful way to support your writing, I’ve written more about the many benefits here.
Encouraging, non-judgemental, her (virtual) presence, via e-mail, helped me turn vague musings into written word.
Her suggestions were kind, calm, helpful.
Unlike school mistresses from my childhood, she made me feel that, what I had to say was worth saying and she seemed genuinely interested in my writings.
Danielle helped me stop assuming that writing had to be hard work, that I had to strain every sinew to produce something worth reading.
She has given me the confidence to write again.
